Pretty in Pink

More Petal Prints

This was one of my favorite stamp sets and I was sad when it didn't make it into the main catalog. I layered torn and crumpled cardstock that had been inked for texture and depth. The corner fold-up is anchored with moss eyelets and tied with black gingham ribbon.

Celebrate Shaker Card

There are a couple techniques going on here. The top center piece is a 3D shaker box. The main piece was cut at 3x3 and stamped with the flowers. The center was punched with a 1.25 square punch. Next, the word "Celebrate" was masked out by inking the stamp with a marker. I then stamped over the open square (this works best with the stamp upside down so you can center it better.)

Next I stamped the full image on a separate piece to fit behind the opening. A window sheet was adhered to the back of the opening on the main square. I then used the edges found on the dimensionals sheets to add depth. I filled this area with beads before removing the dimensional backing and placing the full "Celebrate" stamped image onto it.

Finally, the center "U" was inked with the "rock-n-roll" technique. I first inked the stamp with Pretty in Pink ink and then rolled the edges of the stamp on my basic black pad before stamping the image.

Pick A Petal

This card was fun to make for a demo swap. However, we were suppose to pick a card that was featured in the Fall Collection and create a replica or slight variation. Oops. Somehow those instructions escaped me, and I did my own thing.
